ok. I totally need to take a photo of my daughter's Binky! It's an
addiction for her. She has to have at least 2 at all times. It's
going to be __ getting her weaned. (She's 2)
This is a great photo. And such a good idea for this type of
project - really, these soothers are such a BIG part of our kids
lives!
Suzanne - I thought we were going to have a tough time taking it
away from our daughter too - she was 3 and a half when we finally
did - and it turned out to be not such a huge issue! We waited till
she was a bit older so we could explain it better to her, and then
one night we cut the tip of it off, so that she wouldn't want it
anymore. There was one night of crying and whining for an hour or
two, then a couple nights of mummy or daddy having to lie down with
her to fall asleep, and then that was it! Good luck!
my older son needed several "suckies". When we were trying to wean
him, we told him that he could only use them in his room. So he
placed them under his pillow and would go in frequently for a
"quick fix". It was soooo funny! I should post an old pic of both
boys with 2 or 3 "suckies" in the mouths....
