Olympic Gold, Another Reason To Be Proud To Be Canadian
By Tammy M
Yesterday you may have heard my country do a collective CHEER. I
know we were jumping up and down as we watched Alexandre Bilodeau
win our first ever Gold medal of the 2010 Olympic games. He also
has the honor of winning the first Gold Medal for Canada on
Canadian soil. It was thrilling.
His story is very inspirational as he speaks of the impact his
brother has had on him personally and in his sport.
And yes this was my picture of the day.

and then
By Angie N
So here I am 14 days into PL, I really do love it. At the
end of my crazy day I am able to sneak off to my
scraproom sit for a few minutes and reflect on my day, that is
usually when I write on the journaling card. Having 3 kids I
need that quiet time (especially when two of them are teenage
girls).
I did make post it love note boxes for friends and my son's teacher. That was fun too.
This past week I gave my whole family a valentine's week! Everyday I left them little gifts and a post it not. I was able to hid the gifts for them each to find. Of course by Friday I was exhausted from being cupid all week! My 9 year old son was VERY appreciative, he would thank me everyday after he found his note and gift and tell me thank you and he loved me. of course I was soo busy getting the items ready and worrying about where to put them where they would find them that I didn't take photos. Maybe next year.
I made a resolution at the beginning of the year that at the end of each month I would print the photos from that month. Before I would wait until there is a Scrap Night coming up to print photos.
So now I have all of my January photos in the box and on my list to scrapbook, of course I still have a few more 2009 pictures to scrap.
Off to look for some fun layouts to scrapbook.
Happy three day weekend!

Welcome World To Vancouver, Canada For The 2010 Winter Olympics
By Tammy M
I am so excited to be watching the Olympics. It is finally here. My
heart is pumping and my eyes are brimming with tears.
I remember the Calgary Olympics in 1988. Elizabeth Manley was my hero. I can still cry when I see replays of her Silver Medal.
Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games are going to be FABULOUS. Look at that light show 'wave'
WOW what a show! Love the snowboarder and the Maple Leaf. Way to go Vancouver.
Here is a photo of just a bit of my Canadian pride.

Important Me Time
By Tammy M
What do you do for "Me Time"? Do you carve out time for yourself
monthly, weekly, even daily?
I think it is important that we share in our scrapbooks about the things we do to reward ourselves and relax.
For me, one of the things I like to do is read. I always have a book (or two or three) on the go. It may be fiction or non-fiction; romance or suspense; modern day or historical; a biography or self-help. I am up for just about anything except horror and all out smut.
I am currently reading a light hearted book that has me giggling out loud. Got to LOVE that!

More Shipping Updates
By Tammy M
I have some great news for those of you concerned about the
shipping costs. I have all the details being entered into the
shop this afternoon and I will be posting on the blog once it is
ready.
All I can say is that I found a less expensive
solution my shipping broker didn't have. Therefore I
will be able to provide shipping to some places at almost half
the cost currently listed.
For those of you who have already placed an order, you
will be receiving an email from in about 3 or 4 hours with the
details and you will have the option to get the discounted
shipping rate.
Thanks for your patience as we get through this learning
curve.
I will be in touch in a few hours.

Shipping Charges for Project Life - Explained
By Tammy M
Wow, already a flurry of activity over at the Scrapbook Coach's
Store. Very excited that those outside the U.S. will be able to
receive the Project Life kit.
So a few comments.
I have received a few messages saying that the shipping prices seem high.
Well the short answer is yes they are, that is part of the reason Becky chose not to ship from the U.S.
However, we have done our best to find reliable shipping methods that will get your kit to you as soon as possible after it arrives at our warehouse.
In Canada we will be using

Keep Inspired With Project Life
By Tammy MDay 37
I am proud of all of you for sticking with it. You would be amazed how many people can't stick with something longer than 21 days and you have made it 37 days! YAY us!
We all start with great intentions and what we think is a lot of ideas for the Pictures of the Day (POTD). However there will be days when you forget, aren't inspired or don't know what to talk about, because the day was like every other. Trust me, if you haven't experienced that yet, it's coming.
So how do we get through those moments?
