A couple weeks ago, I received word that a friend of mine welcomed to this world her first grandchild. She was early and tiny, but strong and doing great.

We are so excited for our friends, their daughter and her family.

There is nothing like a baby to bring everything in this world into perspective.

It has been while since I have posted my Pictures of the Day, so I thought I would show you some from this last week.

I found myself a bit behind on my Project Life (okay, maybe more than a bit), but was amazed that in 2 short hours one evening I was caught back up. So back to my photos this week. I already showed you my Saturday and Sunday photos here. 

So last Friday was shopping/grocery day. We have been so busy that our pantry was down to, well empty. It is so good to have a well stocked pantry. These are some of our staples we can't do without.

Well, we did it.

We successfully distributed all the Project Life Kits pre-ordered by Canadians and other International customers. 

A HUGE THANK YOU to my FAMILY who worked diligently through the weekend so I could have them ready for this morning . . .

They have made their journey across the big blue sea and a majestic mountain range and are now sitting in my cozy warehouse (aka - livingroom)

I know that you are all anxiously awaiting the delivery of your Project Life Kit.

So you know how I posted that I was expecting the kits on March 22 and that I would begin shipping them out on March 23?

Well I was wrong.

They are going to be here early! YIPPEE!

If everything comes together, it looks like I will be able to ship them on Friday - Yes this Friday. I will keep you posted.

I can hear the collective CHEER! 

I know last week I posted that I didn't have many POTDs to share due to the fact that we spent 2 weeks, butts on couch, watching the Olympics. 

But, I decided to go back and revisit how I did the pages. I was tired of the same old shot.

So I went to www.ctvolympics.ca and took photos of some of the things I remember best about the 2 weeks and printed them off for our album.

So my BIG DISCLAIMER - I did not take these event photos. A few are shots I took of the TV. I am simply showing these layouts as an idea you can use to incorporate events that affect us, but that we may have not been directly involved with.

"Your Story Your Way" ~ Becky Higgins 

So I was getting ready to post my photos from my last week. You may remember that I started on January 1, so my week goes from Friday to Thursday.

Well as I was pulling my photos together to post, I realized I would likely bore all of you immensely.

My family and I have dubbed ourselves "Olympic Junkies" every day we have moved our computers to the family room and work in front of the TV so we can stay on top of what is happening in the Olympics.

We are very proud to be Canadian and watch all our athletes compete. So with that said, all my photos of the day have been basically the same thing - us sitting on the couch, with our computers watching the games.

Pathetic I know, but it is only every 4 years
