This is going to be a short post today. We are starting our Christmas celebrations, so I have people coming over in a few minutes.

However I did want to post these couple photos and wish each and everyone of you and your families a wonderful Christmas!

My Grandmother use to make great dishes and baked goods. I am lucky enough to have copies of some of her best recipes. One of my favorites at this time of year is shortbread. Nobody said they were good for the waistline, but hey I only make them at Christmas.

So I want share her recipe with all of you to enjoy. Feel free to pass it on to your friends and family or hold onto it like I have as one of your secrets ;)

Okay, so I finally pulled together the Scrapbooker's Inner Circle first contest. 

Well here in Alberta, Canada winter is well under way. There is snow gently falling today in a way that has me thinking of Christmas.

However there is a lot of things to take care of before then. First, Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian members. We celebrated with family and friends this past weekend. There was turkey, ham and all the fixings. We enjoyed entertaining 20 of our closest family and friends.
