Tammy M commented on the group Project Life (POTD)'s wall:Megan, What a fantastic idea. I love that you aren't stuck in the box of having to do it from Jan 1 to Dec 31. There are some many ways to use this album. I would love to see some of your layouts and photos in the gallery.

by Megan L 6 days agoThanks, Tammy! I'm starting with some professional photos we had done right before we moved (that we won during the Becky Higgins blog big photography giveaway :). Then a layout of my husband driving across the country, and then going by week since we've been here in Florida. Using two naptimes and one after-bedtime tv show, I have my book set up and all of my pictures in up to yesterday. Now I just need to fill in the journaling cards! I'll post pictures soon.

I am loving the kit so far; I am awful at trying to create layouts on my own but I so want to record my family's life. Since we just finished up grad school and moved across the country, I figure I'll make this album our "First Year in Florida" record. I think I even have enough photos to go back and record our first few weeks down here to make July complete. Yippee! :)

by Robin K 2 months agoI just purchased my Project Life on eBay. Wasn't sure when I would start it but have decided to begin on my 9th wedding anniversary in July. It will all about our tenth year together!

by Tammy M 3 months agoI saw this note today on Barbra S's profile: "Only 3 1/2 months into this and I am already so far behind :-("
I am sure Barbra isn't the only one that is feeling that way. I know I was.
With Easter and taxes I found myself behind as well.
I sat down a couple nights ago and decided I would get myself caught up. I was totally surprised that in a couple of hours I was up to date again. I just have some pictures to print today and put in. I thought for sure I was in for a weeks worth of 'catching up', which was overwhelming, but 2 hours is totally doable.
I encourage you! Take 15 minutes today to write some journal cards for past days, or to print some pictures you know you are missing. You can do it!

by Shawn L 5 months agoI have been wanting to do this project since "365" came out but was not lucky enough to grab one of the kits. So when BH announced PL I was absolutely thrilled. I ordered my kit and contemplated what day to start....I decided 2/20 would be it b/c that was the day I turned 40. My hubby and 2 kids took me snow tubeing for the day and I got my first POTD. So far so good with the POTD's but it's only been a week :-) I can't wait to sit back a year from now and see how it turned out. While we were tubeing, my grandmother called and left me a message wishing me well and told me a story about the day she turned 40. She said she cried for two weeks and then everything was fine so I shouldn't worry. I had to chuckle to myself b/c 40 is the new 30, right??? and there's nothing to worry about. I couldn't help but think what my daughter will be like at 40 or if one day I will be making a call to my own granddaughter and saying "hey, 40 is fabulous...and I've got a whole scrapbook to prove it! I've only been a member for a few hours on here but so far I have been so inspired with everyone's layouts and pics and can't wait to add a few of my own.
