Yes, finding time and space is the roughest part. Every time I take all my stuff out, I find it's too soon time to put it all back in the drawers. I make a schedule every week, for every day. Let's say I want to make a card for my mom, I will fit it in my schedule one week ahead of time, and make sure everything else in my schedule is done for when I get to the timeslot for card making, so it's perfectly guilt-free and all fun.

And I stick to the time I allow for the project. Since I never really have a plan for my cards when I start, I just end the card when I'm out of time. But I make sure I plan enough time to create something decent

You have a great idea in theory. But, how do you manage to schedule your days so far in advance and stick to it? I cannot even plan a menu a week ahead of time and keep it. Something always comes up. It's too hot to turn the oven on, some extracurricular activity means grabbing a bite on the go.

If your plans get messed up to work on a card, for instance, do you just squeeze it in at the end of the day, or shove something else aside? Like my Grandma used to say, "life happens while you are making other plans".
