For the month of September, your challenge is to creatively use vellum on a layout. Vellum has been around scrapbooking for quite a while now and maybe you haven't used it lately. I used to use vellum quite a bit especially for journaling. On this layout though, I decided to use it in the background and I like how it gives the layout just the right touch.
What I did was simply cut a large circle from a sheet of vellum using decorative scissors. Then I inked the edges in brown so it would stand out more on my page. I adhered the circle to the layout using a great adhesive spray by Scotch called Vellum & More Adhesive. It holds well and doesn't show through at all. That's it!
