My mom found an old album from the 80′s that my dad had made about our family dog – Yes, you read that right, my DAD created the original keepsake 30 years ago. Unfortunately the products back then were not very photo friendly, so the photos were aging poorly. She decided to take it apart and use a Project Life Mini Album (Kiwi) to re-create the keepsake. It turned out great!

 

How do plan to use your mini album?

 

A few weeks ago, my mom and I spent some ‘mother/daughter’ time together scrapbooking and we were using Project Life products exclusively. It is how we roll now. Simple, quick and BEAUTIFUL!

Next week I am going to share my memory keeping process and how I have been able to scrapbook 6 years worth of photos in 9 days! I have been hesitate because scrapbooking is a very personal thing. Welcome March!

March is a crazy busy month for me and my family. Lots of birthdays and big projects due. It is crazy to think that by the end of March we will be a house full of adults. Our youngest will be transitioning into the world of adulthood and the empty nest is just around the corner (more like in a blink of an eye). I have lots to savor this March.

One of my ‘big projects’ was to get all of the new Project Life goodies into the shop so you can place your pre-order. It is done and live and pre-orders are steaming in. You folks are just a little excited!

For those you who are pros at this, you will notice some updates to the website and shop.

Mainly, it is navigation. Getting to information you need is easier now with the drop down menu when you scroll over “Shop Project Life”. Then there is the new navigation and look to the shops. Now you can shop by Product Type (example Albums, Photo Pocket Pages) and you can shop via Edition (Limited or New). Either way you can find all the products you need to complete a scrapbook and tell your amazing story.

I have added a new section to each shop – LAST CHANCE

You will want to check this out often. This is the place where I will post items that are about to be gone for good and we have extremely limited quantities left (like 1 or 2). If you see something in the section you would really love, I recommend you order it right away, as chances are when you come back later it will be gone.

I will also post items that are on clearance, which you must know hardly ever (like NEVER) happens, into the Last Chance section. I have made the Project Life Photo Pocket Pages – Small Variety Pack 1 **SMALL IMPERFECTION** available again as it is time to clear them off the shelves to make room for all the new, yummy goodies headed our way later this spring.

Speaking of prices

I was so excited to be able to keep the pricing pretty much where it was at. Some items even have a lower price – like the new ‘designer’ albums that coordinate with each edition. However, there was one product that did go up in price – 12×12 Designer Paper packs – 24 sheets (printed on both sides and are absolutely stunning). They are still a great deal and now we realize how much of a steal the earlier edition paper packs really were!

I am ‘unplugging’ for the weekend. Time to recharge my ‘battery’ for all the big things planned for March. Have a wonderful weekend!

Back in the fall of 2012, Becky Higgins announced her partnership with American Crafts and it left me (and you) wondering how Scrapbooker’s Inner Circle would fit into the new plan. I appreciate all the emails I received from you, my amazing customers, hoping that nothing would change.

As many of you have noted Becky and I don’t always have the same sales at the same time. Remember that even though we provide the same products, we are separate company’s. Hello February!

So why is today so important?

Today is February 1, 2013
It is the month of LOVE
I am celebrating 3 years of bring Project Life to the globe
and 1 year since establishing Project Life in Europe

Just a little history:

As you likely already know, Becky Higgins launched her revolutionary product PROJECT LIFE in the fall of 2009.

As a Scrapbook Coach, whose focus is on taking the stress out of memory keeping, I was immediately attracted to Project Life and the concept Becky created. I knew I wanted to use it as a tool to show my visitors that you can create a beautiful album without pressure, guilt or even a creative bone in your body.

So with that in mind, I created this video in January 2010.

Remember the ‘shuffle’ that caused a global *gasp*? By the way, I still do that with my journal cards

 

Then in January 2010 Becky announced that Project Life would no longer be available globally. She was only going to sell it in the USA via Amazon.com. Ohhhh Noooooooo!

Well after a number of phone calls and many email exchanges, Becky and I were thrilled to announce that Project Life would be available to anyone outside the USA via Scrapbooker’s Inner Circle. I took my first pre-order on February 9, 2010.

My little company grew fast and I learned LOTS as I went along. Once I had refined our ‘system’ here in Canada, it was time to launch in Europe, which was another huge learning curve. On February 1, 2012 I accepted my first pre-order in the UK and the rest of Europe.

Back to today…

Wow! The past three years have been amazing. I have loved watching the passion for sharing all our stories bloom and grow with the help of the simple, but beautiful tool – Project Life. However that all pales compared to how much I have absolutely LOVED getting to know each of you, my wonderful customers. Having you share your enthusiasm has been inspiring.

In February 2010 the Original Edition was only available in very limited quantities. I was so thrilled when, in the summer of 2012, Becky decided to reprint (and rename) the edition. Welcome back CHERRY!

So to celebrate the many great things about February, all of the “CHERRY” Limited Edition items will be available for 10% off. No codes to enter. The sale price is already listed in the shop.

This sale will last until February 28th or until quantities last.
