Project Life Photography Theme {week 26}, Freedom

Posted on June 29, 2012 | 0 comments

Happy Friday AND Long weekend (here in Canada!)

This weekend Canadians celebrate “Canada Day” and for me it is all about being free.

My FREEDOM is so precious! We take pride in being Canadian. We have the added bonus of celebrating our newest Canadian – my hubby.  Earlier this year he officially became a Canadian citizen. <3

This week’s Project Life Photography theme is to capture the things that define freedom for you. No matter whether you are celebrating your country this week or not, freedom is precious and should be CELEBRATED.

Here are just a couple ‘symbols’ of freedom to me personally

Okay, so you may be wondering about the car keys?!? Well to me having my own vehicle and the ability to go where I want and whenever I need to, is very important to me.

This photo also has one more representation of “Freedom” – I GET TO “cultivate a good life”. It is my choice. I am free to do so.

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful long weekend.

Remember to think about your freedom. What does it mean to you? I would love to have you share in the comments below what represents freedom to you.

Don’t know what this all about?

This is year #2 for this weekly feature!  One of my blog posts each week will be an idea you can use, if you like. Please understand that this is not something to be followed to the letter or in any particular order. It is simply a list of ideas.

You will find them all the Project Life Photography Theme ideas listed here. If you find yourself in a bit of a slump anytime during the year, take a look at the list, I am sure you will find something to spark your creativity.
