5 Best Decisions of My Life…So Far
I don’t know Karen Walrond personally. I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting her face to face. However, she is someone whose blog, http://www.chookooloonks.com/blog/ I found about a year ago and read often. She is encouraging, to the point and more importantly – REAL! I love it.
I follow her on twitter @chookooloonks and a number of days ago she asked what were the 5 best decisions of your life?
Well, I came up with mine (more like 7 or
right away, but have hesitated to share them here on the blog.
To say that some might be seen as contraversal is an understatement. However, as I have mulled them over, I realize these 5 reasons are why I am the person I am today… Courageous, Confident and Passionate about life!
My Top 5 Best Decisions
- Having kids – best BEST decision EVER!
- Getting a divorce at the age of 24, with that came saying goodbye to the church, while keeping my faith intact
- Getting a J.O.B. in the big city and then leaving it to work for myself in my many fullfilling businesses.
- Getting married to the very real Mr. M
- Not being afraid to ask GREAT people to joint venture with my businesses.
I am grateful! Thank you Karen for prompting this reflection.
Thank you readers, for letting me share my Top 5. If you want to share what your 5 Best Decisions are, please do! I would love to read them. If you blog about them, be sure to post the url to your post in your comment below.
P.S. I love the children’s book Oh, the Places You’ll Go by Dr. Suess as it helps people of all ages remember that there is so much to look forward to in life – just step out and DO.
