Photos of the Picture Taker
I was so thrilled to finally get some pictures of me with my kids this summer. In particular I spent a day in the mountains with some friends and my girlfriend took a number of shots of me and my two children.

As a mom I’m usually the one behind the camera taking the pictures, so I’m rarely in them, especially with the munchkins. I can’t believe how exciting it is to have these treasured photos now. I’ve already got a couple on display in frames and I plan to scrapbook some more. One of my favorites is with me and my son cuddled up on the green lawn. Can’t wait to make a page with it – it turned out soooo good.<!– pagebreak –>

I’d encourage anyone who is usually running the camera to get someone else to take a bunch of photos of you. An especially easy and good way to do this is when you are out for a day trip or outing with someone else. I had left my camera at home (accidentally) but it turned out to be a blessing because it forced me to just "be" and my lovely friend took the photos instead. I borrowed her camera sometimes to catch her with her family as well.
